Practising yog with Mudra

Mudras plays the very important role in a human body. Let you first know the guidelines before knowing about it. As this may also have bad effect.

-Mudras can be practiced at any time during sitting, walking, standing, talking but when we do Yog Sadhana with the mudras it gives you full benefit. Sitting in Sukhasana or Padmasana, if cannot on a chair with back straight in all position will give you full benefit and even cures diseases, if any, more effectively, and instantly starts showing the results. If you cannot make mudras in both hands, you can make it in one hand and get benefit. For complete benefit and permanent results one should practice mudra for at least 30 min. continuously, with concentration.

-Mudras should not be practiced after eating. Keep at least 4hrs gap. Morning time after you fresh up, between 4 to 7 is the best time.

-Before performing know the complete knowledge of the mudra and what way you be benefiting with it.

-While performing if any pains or uneasiness in the body, stop practicing it and wait for some days, or consult with yog gurus.

-It is also important that you perform perfect mudra, pressing the fingers at right points will benefit you and in wrong points may effect you badly.

-Mudras can cure your ailments, diseases etc.. But after you get permanent cure practice Yog in Gyan mudra.

A mudra is formed by the Fingers of Hand. It is considered that the 5 fingers represents the 5 elements.

Hand

1. Thumb represents Fire.
2. Index finger represents Air, (The finger beside Thumb)
3. Middle finger represents Space
4. Ring finger represents Earth
5. Little finger the last one represents water.

The human body is also formed by the union of these elements only. From these five fingers representing five elements you can perform mudras to keep you body balanced. If any imbalance, it also can be cured, if not cured can cause you diseases etc.. which are now causing deaths.

Will tell you in detail about the most benefiting mudras in my future posts of Yog Soon.

What is the best time and place for doing Yog?

1. The best time for doing Yog is in the early morning hours between 4am to 7am.

2. Before doing Yog, and to gain full benefit of it, Your stomach should be empty and free from the waste after digestion of the food you eat previous day. After you wake up in the morning, drink 2-3 or if comfortable with more, drink and do tadasana for 2-3 times, this will clear the waste more efficiently. Going to toilets like Indian sitting will clear the waste better.Wash your eyes as explained in my previous post and get prepared for Yog.

3. Select a place, where you can have good space for doing yog asanas. An open space with greenary around and pure air is an ideal place for doing yog.

4. A mat is to be laid down, so that the surface is not too hard, nor soft, nor slippery.

5. Clothes weared to be loose. So that air can easily circulate your body.

6. Free legs, no shoes or chappals.

7. Should be fit and normal if you want to perform all the asanas, if you are suffering from any problems, dieseases, etc… Some asanas may increase your problem so you should practice under Yog Gurus or Yog Shikshak.

8. Pregnant woman should avoid doing Yog after the third month of pregnancy.

9. High Blood pressure, Hernia Patients, Heart Patients should stirclty practice under some Yog Gurus or Yog Shikshak. Doing Pranayam slowly adviced by Yogis can be helpful in curing your physical problems.

10. If having problems with back, should avoid or do slowly some of the asanas and take proper advice before doing them.

11. All should take guidance from Yogis, before commencing yourself. It is very much needed to practice under a Yog Teacher to avoid mistakes during Yog. As it may harm you or you may have no benefit.

There are lot of free classes conducted around the world. Check out Shradhye Swami Ramdev ji’s website www.divyayoga.com and contact them, they will surely have atleast one Yog Shikshak in your area. Also there are many more institutions run classes for free, Googling Yog classes or Yoga Classes with your area/city name will give you good results.
