Food in summer

This summer is so hot, never seen before from my childhood. As summer is going on it is preferable to take liquid foods mostly and drink more water atleast 5ltrs. a day.

Liquid foods can be mostly fruits. Like Mosambi juice, Orange, Watermelon, Lemon juice, etc… These will help the body to be cool.

Now a days as heat is very much and temperatures are touching 42 Degreess – 52 Degrees it is like catalyst to bacterias etc… on the food. It is good to avoid outside food and eat fresh food mostly. It is read from newspapers like todays The Hindu giving about the food poisoning due to heat of summer.

My Daily food in summer is simple. Morning One Chapati (Roti) and small quantity of Rice with Dal(Moong dal preferred) and Curry – green vegetables are very much preferred in summers like Palak(Spinach), Bottlegourd,Etc… and after eating I drink one glass of Buttermilk(Take 20%Curd & 80% Water well mixed), butter milk helps in good digestion and also keeps the body cool.
Low diet best food in the morning can be sprouts during summer. I take it sometimes

In the afternoon, I take small quantity of Rice with Dal and have some buttermilk

In the evening, I take some fruits like Orange or Mosambi Juice or whatever is availiable.

In the night, one Roti or small quantity of Rice with Curry or Dal. I take this Dinner at about 7:00PM or atmost 8:00Pm.

And just half an hour before sleep I take Milk. (Cow’s Milk is best preferred)

I hope you would also like to have more liquid food in Summer.
